The Client: 
Kapsch CarrierCom AG is a global innovator and system integrator of telecommunication solutions for railway operators and providers of fixed line, mobile transmission, transport and access networks. 
The company provides an end-to-end spectrum of services ranging from analysis and consulting, design and product development, to installation, integration and maintenance. It also offers the operation of complete networks. 
Kapsch CarrierCom is a leading global player in the development of next generation technologies and the clear market leader in GSM-based radio communication systems for railways. Customers include many large railway operators in major markets such as France and Germany, which has the world's largest GSM-R network.

The Project (Rent-a-CFO): 
In 2007 negative market developments and internal structural deficits forced KCC to reorganise. From January to March 2007 Management Factory worked for KCC in a consultative capacity and from April 2007 to January 2008 supplied the chief financial officer to KCC. Management Factory’s task was to implement the reorganisation and optimise business processes.

The Project (Rent-a-Controller):
The reorientation of Kapsch CarrierCom placed additional demands on the Controlling department, which could no longer be met with internal resources, a situation that was aggravated by the unexpected loss of employees who had been with the company for many years. Management Factory supported KCC in this situation by supplying experienced members of staff. Management Factory also supervised all controlling tasks for the newly founded subsidiary.
